Inside My World: Real Estate, Real Talk, and Building Wealth That Lasts

I’m Julie Markarian, a Los Angeles native who truly knows these streets. I bought my first property at 23, and since then, I’ve built my career around real estate, investing, and helping people make grounded decisions that support long-term stability. I’m also a passionate advocate for responsible property owners, and I’m known for helping clients think bigger than the moment and use real estate as a tool to build generational wealth.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just understand real estate. I understand everything around it.

My world has always been hands-on. I’ve spent decades buying and selling residential and commercial properties, investing, and navigating the real-life details that most people don’t see until they’re already in the middle of a deal. I’m also a loan officer, which means I understand lending from the inside out: refinancing, renovations, underwriting, and the day-to-day realities of property operations. That full-picture perspective makes a major difference, especially when situations get complicated or when the numbers need to be evaluated from every angle.

A big part of my work today is supporting housing providers as state and city policies continue to shift. Regulations change quickly, and many property owners feel overwhelmed trying to keep up. I help cut through the noise with clarity, calm leadership, and practical guidance so property owners can move forward with a plan that actually makes sense.

At the heart of it all, my mission stays simple: protect property owners, expand opportunity through ownership, and help people build long-term stability through real estate.

I genuinely love what I do, and I think that comes through in my work. I care deeply about helping people create security through homeownership and smart investing, because to me, home is where the heart is, and real estate is one of the strongest foundations for building a future.
