Thank You to Everyone Who Joined Us at the AOA Political Action Luncheon Featuring District Attorney Nathan Hochman
I want to sincerely thank everyone who joined us for the AOA Political Action Luncheon on January 24, 2026 at the Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach. It was an incredible afternoon bringing together housing providers, investors, and community leaders who care deeply about the future of rental housing in California.
Seeing so many members of the community come together to support advocacy for property owners made the event truly special. Your participation helped make the luncheon a meaningful and successful gathering.
Bringing the Community Together
Organizing this event was very important to me because I believe strongly in creating opportunities for housing providers to connect, stay informed, and support the policies that protect responsible property ownership.
Working alongside the Apartment Owners Association (AOA), I helped coordinate the event to create a space where property owners, investors, and industry professionals could come together to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing rental housing today.
Events like this are about more than networking. They are about strengthening our community and making sure the voices of housing providers are represented.
A Meaningful Conversation with District Attorney Nathan Hochman
One of the highlights of the afternoon was hearing from District Attorney Nathan Hochman, who shared insights on important issues affecting our communities and the importance of responsible leadership and public safety.
Having leaders who understand the challenges facing property owners and housing providers is incredibly important. It was an honor to host a conversation that allowed attendees to engage with someone who is working to serve our communities and address critical issues impacting California residents.
A Successful and Inspiring Afternoon
The luncheon featured a wonderful gathering of housing providers, investors, and industry professionals. Guests enjoyed a premium lunch, meaningful networking opportunities, and a silent auction that helped support ongoing advocacy efforts.
The energy in the room made it clear how committed our community is to staying engaged and working together to protect responsible property ownership.
Thank You for Your Support
I am truly grateful to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make this event possible. Your participation strengthens the work being done to advocate for fair and balanced housing policies across California.
When housing providers come together, we create stronger communities and a more informed and empowered industry.
Looking Ahead
Events like the AOA Political Action Luncheon are just one part of the work I am committed to doing in support of housing providers and responsible property ownership.
Advocacy is something I care deeply about, and I will continue working with organizations, community leaders, and industry professionals to help bring awareness to the issues impacting property owners across California.
I look forward to organizing and supporting many more events in the future that bring our community together, encourage meaningful conversations, and help ensure that housing providers continue to have a voice in the policies that shape our industry.
Thank you again to everyone who joined us for such a meaningful afternoon.
All the best,
Julie Markarian
